Work In Progress - Need Critique Please

I have changed this some, but am stillunhappy with the water. The color of the water is not really as bright as it appears on the screen. It has a grayish hint to it. I think it now has too much going on. The effect should be more sutble. I will continue to work on it as time allows. I have been very busy with nieces and nephew. I am happy with the pelican itself though. The butterflies are coming.

This is a WIP of a brown pelican. I have included the two reference photos I used and also a larger version of the piece that is included in this critique request. It is also on my Blog with progression photos. The Address is linked at the bottom of the photo.

It's wonderful. I would darken the tips of the tail feathers a little. Also, I just saw the finished piece of your grand-niece and that is awesome. She's lovely.
