Great video, "Watercolors and the Color Wheel". Lots of good info for the beginner.
One thought though...You mention the basic differences between student grade and professional grade watercolor. It might be important to note -
Even certain pigments in the professional grade watercolor can be whats called "Fugitive". In the PAST ( like 5 years ago) it was a huge problem with CERTAIN pigments. But since that time, the "fugitive colors have been gradually replaced by the major manufacturers with alternative blends of other pigments to create almost the EXACT same shades in permanent replacements. For instance, the Winsor Newton co. has replaced their "Alizaron Crimson" with "Alizaron Crimson Permanent". Be sure to check each tube for the Lightfastness ratings, or you may paint a masterpiece only to fin that in 3 years its washed out or worse, parts are GONE. I have had it happen to me!.
