Hi Rita
Thank you. I used a rigger for the branches. Put soap on it frist so it didn't spoil the hairs. Sometimes I use an old-fashioned ink pen. The one you dip into ink. That creates lovely thin lines. Hope this helps.

Hi Rita!
THank you very much for your kind comments on my Young Love painting,
I didnt find it hard at all.. I did use the same reference photo and on occasion looked at the old photo of my painting but mostly worked off of the photo as if it was the first time..
I use a projector to get the outlines of the subject and sketch freehand more details. and seal it with pencil fixative.. then paint and paint till I get the right tones I like.. I paint very thinly.
THANK YOU
Luv,Kathie

Thanks again Rita, no that beach is 6 miles away, my beach is more on the level. We are surrounded by beautiful beaches my favourite place to walk in the winter....they are so empty.......... they are the nicest place to find peace. This one is normally "full" of tourists...maybe 6-10 people at the most. ;-)

:o)) Thank you to you 2.....x
I am not blowing them up but now you have suggested it I know what to do next time... it was a major challenge as I was comparing the details all the time and I simply do not paint the same way as I did 18 months ago which is when I did the original....x

You want to be here....it is our third day of gales, today my side gate has been turned into splinters. I live looking out on the sea -today it is force 9 and climbing. I dislike the rain so much when it is cyclonic!!! Cheers Lizzy.

Hi Rita
I remember you asking me if ACEOs really sold for $20, so I sent you a link to an Ebay auction of an ACEO which was over £50. Then I realised that the seller had posted a normal size painting in the ACEO section. Anyway, here's another one

Crazy or what!

Honestly Rita, have had another good look and I really wouldn't touch it again, it looks so nice and loose, had a look mainly to see if it needed any more darks to lift that leaf out, but you've already got some in there, it's a very unusual piece and I really like it..... maybe someone else will have more idea but if it were me I'd be extremely happy with that one!!
