Hi Anne, Thank you for stopping by and viewing A Very Slippery Street and my November Horse Lovers challenge. They are very nice remarks you gave me on both. Will try to participate more in the hl's group. Your friend, Carol
Thankyou Anne
for the nice comments ,I'm sorry i was late getting back to ya ,i've been sick just about all week -starting to feel alittle better hope you had a great Thanksgiving
Thankyou Anne for that really great comment about my horse's eye. I'm afraid that I do not have a lot of time these days to come online but I appreciate your invite to join the horses group and will be delighted to do so but I may not contribute much at the moment but hopefully soon I will be able to do so. Thanks again!
Cheers Anne - I am going to my art class tonight so I will take this portrait with me - there is a demo tonight on card making (yawn!!) - so I will listen and have one eye on the demo and be painting away! x
Dear Anne, just read the first line you have written in your message...'hell to all my friends.' that was very funny! It's got me laughing...I've got the giggles. Love, Zarah.
Anne, Thank you for your encouraging words on my granddaughter and her horse. I've always loved horses and have drawn them since childhood--but never tried painting one.
You've got some beautiful examples here for me to see and learn from. Joanne

Hi Anne, Me again, thank you for the lovely comment and the top marks on the Horse Lovers October challenge. I am sorry I have not participated enough, I planned to and was prepared, there doesn't seem to be enough hours in the days. Take care, Carol
Hi Anne,
Thank you for the lovely comments on my still life drawings. They are fun to practice. I am enjoying the book a lot. Anxious to see you start back as well.
Take care,
Kimber
Hi Anne,
Thanks for checking out my horse water color. The thing he is pulling was painted gray cause thats how it was in the course. Not a full painting probably reason why. The leg though did seem off to me so thanks for helping appreciate it. Especially from a horse woman. :) . Hope all is well.
Take care,
Kimber
Oh well Anne - it will be something you can do in the future - I think it is better to do the traditional work first anyway - much better cos you have an original painting in your hand - with digital painting you dont get that x
I agree with Turtle. However, remeber that limestone is basically blue/grey; the greens are usually impurities or growths like moss and algae. Although it is deposited in layers, it is eroded by water, so has lots of verticals and wavy strata, both…
