I found it very boring not working , I like to make my own greeting cards. And then I thought I would try watercolor painting I bought a couple of books

(but have loads more now ) and started teaching myself and if it was not for Harry who encouraged and supported me to keep going. I would not be here now he said I should just go for it and here I am it was a struggle at first made lots of mistakes and still do. And enjoy tryiing other mediums.

I've hardly picked a brush up in months and months since I started drawing Jan, but I do intend to do a few paintings during the summer when I am away in the caravan.  I've really got the bug for this graphite drawing though pal. xxx

thanks Jan.  I started and packed up watercolour painting quite a few times and got quite depressed with it.  I thought I would never be able to paint.  I joined the SAA and they sent me some 4" x 6" postcard size pieces of watercolour paper and I painted the vultures on one of them.  I really liked it so that ebcouraged me to try harder.  It is in a frame and looks good on the unit below the TV.  xxx

"I just finished my Yorkie. She sure is a cute little critter. I didn't have the right colors (or wasn't successful in blending them), but I do like her anyway. It's done in Derwent Colorsoft pencil on 9 x 12" drawing pad paper. "
