i like this -only comments i would change the colour of the dress and darken some of the shadow paint.

hi limmy i use tracedown a lot for outlines and dont consider it cheating at all.
hair is difficult and i usually build it up from dark to light(i use acrylics).

- left work in 2003 to look after sick wife and 6 months later started a course in watercolours .
since then I have gone onto oils which i find I am liking much better.I have fell out with watercolours and having bought some acrylics to be quite honest now i have got a lot more use to them i find i,m liking them the best.

I perhaps would not label this "contemporary". Rather, it harkens back to very old Japanese stylistic painting. Its beautiful, but .....
