hi limmy i use tracedown a lot for outlines and dont consider it cheating at all. hair is difficult and i usually build it up from dark to light(i use acrylics). dave.

left work in 2003 to look after sick wife and 6 months later started a course in watercolours .
since then I have gone onto oils which i find I am liking much better.I have fell out with watercolours and having bought some acrylics to be quite honest now i have got a lot more use to them i find i,m liking them the best.

Hi Nightjar,
Thank you for your comments on my Mosel painting really appreciate
them. Don't really know why Im not keen,perhaps I should add some vines
to the back of the village...just feel there is something missing..
Maybe I should just move on and paint something else!
