- I have always loved drawing but with family and work put my pencils down many years ago 2008 was the year that I took the pencils up again Bob Ross was the insperation to take up painting and as I am now mobility challenged I needed a challenge I am in my sixties and always thought some day I would take up drawing again,so now I am drawing again and now painting. I like cooking,sewing,keeping my animal friends well and feeling good,gardening and after learning the computer a couple of years back I now love going on the computer and 'surfing' the net to find new sites like this one.
I have now been painting for one year I started on 28-1-2008,

Thanks for your kind words re the SAA picture. I don't think I am going to push my luck.
I have just been on a cruise which had a Painter on board (Tony Cowlishaw) who was doing watercolour sessions. We did three paintings which were then exhibited anonymously to the other passengers. Scary or what!
