Hi Walter, Yah I do oil painting too but give it up since my husband cant stand the smell. As you know painting with knife takes months or years to completely dry. I will submit an oil painting I did many years ago but will
take it off after a month. Hope we can be friends...Purrrr.purrrr

Hi Walter, You are welcome. I am happy you stop by to take a look at my page. Well I only use poster colors, watercolor pencils, and color pencils. I mixed using them alot. To me its the paper that matters. The bright art you see really depend on the photo taking, Many beautiful paintings here are distorted because of no good shots.

Hi Walter
Thanks for your help. I actually use a hand sharpener but was thinking of getting an electric one. It does get tiresome sharpening all the time! I am so in love with the way the colored pencils do leaves that I can't make enouh of them. The first piece I worked on turned out terrible ( I filled it in too much and it becvame terribly cluttered and imbalanced. But I am working on another one. Hope to be able to put it on my site soon. Thanks again, Cathi

Hi Walter, Thanks for the info. It was very helpful. Now my next question is.. why does my prismacolor pencils break up so badly? I thought it might have been because I could have dropped the box...but didnt't remember it. So I bought some new ones today adn I have 3 that are doing the same thing. About every 1/3 to 1/2 an inch they are broken. It is like throwing away at least half then pencil. What a waste.

Emma, Really lovely painting. The blues look so crisp and fresh, and you have still kept the petals looking delicate. H
