Hello Skeeter,
Could you tell me which kind of ink pen you use. I am looking at buying one but not sure which one to choose, your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Hi Skeeter,

The thin lines were done by shaving a charcoal stick into a little bowl, adding a touch of water and painting them in with a #2 rigger brush. I also shave and paint on the pastel for the sky and ground like watercolor washes. When it dries I can erase, smudge, etc. I'll draw directly on the paper over the washes to get a rich color. This technique helps keep the paintings loose and watercolor-like in appearance.
