Very good. I love African masks particularly and masks in general. I've drawn a few myself. You are very good at drawing/painting expression. Not an easy thing to do.

I see the wind--looks really cold--and I see the cottage.......but where is the fire inside???? What I first saw was a walk in a haunted wood. I like it!!

The eyes and that mouth tell you that there is quite a story behind this painting. And the colors you have used give it such an unusual and wonderful twist! Very eye catching and it really makes you think.

Colours are sweet and it is beautiful to taking time to look at this magnificent work. Because we can see many elements in this painting. Bravo.

Thank you so much Ruth, to have answered my question and I appreciate your comment a lot because it is always instructive. Yes, Kathie's suggestion is very good and I retained it because I puts everything on paper to make an analysis more detailed before making the changes. Thank you still. Good day and good painting, your friend Lucie bye

Harry It was one of the highlights of my life to know him. After I moved from NYC to SD he actually stayed with me in my home & each day I drove him to a speaking engagement downtown. That was so wonderful because he'd practic his talk with me, go over things he thought might be interesting, etc. He was a very special person. Hugs Ruth

Ruth, thank you so much for your lovely comments. I did Wedding4 as an order for a crazy American/Russian/Jewish/Muslim wedding. I think I did my best to cram every symbolic thing in it. Incidently, I have another "Wedding" where there actually is a glass. Thanks! Irina
P.S. I like your art. And thank you for inbiting me to your friend!

Hi Kirk, This is a very good portrait. Payne's grey I find very good for black and white subjects, although you do seems to have other colours mixed with it? Quite a bit of red? Well done. Danny
