- Tell us a bit about yourself:
- I visited the Turner exhibition at Tate Gallery London in 2007 and was mesmerised by his watercolour sketches. Fell in love with watercolour. Previously I had never had any interest in art (been a musician) but now love the idea of mastering watercolour. I am influenced by Turner, Trevor Chamberlain, David Taylor, Alvaro Castagnet, John Lovett and many others.
It has taken me awhile to get my confidence up to even start painting. I have been buying DVD's and books and slowly learning. Also just purchased Bob's Watercolour Secrets DVD's and looking forward to them arriving so I can learn.
My main interest is in painting landscapes, seascapes and city scapes

Taking Better Photograps Of Artwork
One of the areas I have struggled in with art has been taking good quality photos of finished paintings.
I recently heard about a great idea of a Artist Photo Booth Studio which is excellent for helping to get a nice soft even light on your painting.
I just found one on ebay and tried it out ...
