- Tell us a bit about yourself:
- I am a stay at home mom. Someone recently asked me what I did for enjoyment. I had no answer. I realized that everything I did was for someone else in some way. I decided to do something for myself that I have been wanting to do for about 30 years; Learn to Paint! No more excuses. I took a beginning Acrylics Class at the local college in the continuing education program, beginning in July 2009. So here I am and I am loving it!

Many thanks to all who have sent me encouraging comments on my painting. I am not sure if there should or should not be shadows behind the bird and the post, or if the shadowing is correct. Still learning :)

- Thanks for commenting on Matthew I appreciate it. So glad you have discovered your passion for art and much earlier than me. I found mine about two years ago when for health reasons I had to give up work. Funny how things turn out 'cos now it is my 'thing' and sort of gives me identification. If you get what I mean.
