Mary. What a great question. I love these.........the key word is "feel", as everybody is different. I feel very happy when people give me "technical" or "technique" tips, hints, advice to increase t…

Thanks for the nice comment on my painting "Bea"! Your work doesn't look distorted to me! Very nice...keep at it! It will come with practice!

I hope to get another one of those plastic gizmos with drawers in it, and balance a piece of wood across the two of them, and make a new table that way. At present, I can't find a thing.

How long have you been drawing or painting?
Just started!, I'm returning to art after a long lay off
Tell us a bit about yourself:
I think i suffer from a common 'artistic' ailment. We all have it at one stage or another. Mine has been ongoing since finger painting days!! It's when strange things happen between how we actually see something, and what appears on the paper! Two completely different things!!!
or.... looking at the positives, i have an extraordinary gift for 'distorting nice scenes into unrecognizable shapes and colours"!! hehehe
Thus my rehabilitation starts...........where's my pencil sharpener and eraser??. Stand Back!! This could get messy!! Sept 2009
Any feedback is good feedback. Feel free to help me improve.

I perhaps would not label this "contemporary". Rather, it harkens back to very old Japanese stylistic painting. Its beautiful, but .....
