My all time favorite are pastels. It is like adult finger painting. Which is wierd cause I don't like to get dirty. I have rags and paper towels nearby. I have been getting into colored pencils. Have been experimenting with them and also with melted crayons. The center of my Ladybug painting is of melted crayon.
