Hi Mary, what is the woodland Cree Spiritual Path you follow or is it too wordy for on here. Just interested. I am not religious in that sense but very spiritual. Thanks Dreamkeeper.  I have drawn a few Native Americans but without knowing which tribal grouops they came from.   I just bought a book called, 'The Vanishing Race' which is authentic tribal history anbd stories that have been passed down.  I think they are fascinating people and I love everything about them.  Are you a Native American yourself?   Take care and thanks again. xx

Hi Mary, lovely to hear from you.  I am sorry that the retirement home did not work out for you but pleased you have got somewhere else to live until you can get yourself sorted out financially.   It is just awful the way prices have shot up - every week there are increases on foodstuff and petrol (gas) prices are going through the roof at the moment. The only shops doing a roaring trade in the town nearest me are charity shops but even those prices have increased but you can pick up a good bargain.

The place you are living sounds ideal for you and you will soon get yourself into the way of painting and drawing again.  I am in a down period at the moment but I've been busy trying to get my garden in order but I cannot do the heavy work I once was able to tackle so it is little and often.   My son David is keeping well again so well that he has decided to renovate the garage which has not been maintained so well since my husband passed away.  Anyhow he has replaced the sliding door with an open and close one and has taken the roof off and is in the process of putting new joists and some replacement rafters.   I must say it is good to see him back to his old self again.  He has never used any building skills prior to this as he works in IT but is not afraid of getting his hands dirty.
