Tell us a bit about yourself:
I am 59yrs young, the mother of 5 grown sons, I became disabled 2 yrs ago and had to quit my job. Since then, to keep from going downhill, I started back into art. I use to paint years ago, and I have a degree in graphics communication which I never used. I have owned 3 art and framing gallerys and have been away from the business for about 18years. I do love art..I am learning how to draw. I am am eager student so will take help from all of you. I am so happy to be here.
The More I see of all of your art the more I see how much I have to learn. When I said I painted. Well, let's just say, I held a brush and put some paint on the canvas and everyone in my family said that is so beautiful. I had no idea what I was doing..I am here to learn everything.
I just watched Jim painting bark on a tree and I was mesmerized, now if I could only get that
tree I bet I could get the bark on it. lol
Well, ya'll, can anyone help me with a sunflower leaf. I am painting some sunflowers right
now that I used texture medium on the flowers but not on the leaves. My leaves aren't looking
too good.
Thanks,
Linda
