Okay, this is definitely a challenge on numerous fronts. I don't know if I am brave enough to try this challenge. I think I will just stare at it for a few hours/days/weeks lol and then maybe.....

This is a really lovely piece. It looks like Red Rock maybe. It has been a long time since I have been able to go out that way but it sure reminds me of going out on Charleston into the Red Rock area. you really captured the feel of the desert here.
Mark, you did fantastic on this bike. I can feel the power of the bike. Every part of piece fits perfectly to the point that it feels real. I am very impressed with this. Thank you for sharing with us.

- Was a nurse for over 30 years. Osteoarthritis ended career. Now handicapped, pretty much bed bound. Do variety of hobbies from bed. Amateur radio, Origami, silly sounding but gardening (I direct family), scrap booking and now watercolor. Married to second wife (best one ever) now for near 9 years. Have one daughter and one son in law, two step daughters. Have a very dear daughter/dog chihuahua named Bonnie and two cats. Dead on novice with watercolor, none done since school days. Don't want to paint for adulation or sales, just to give me self fulfillment. Am just now purchasing materials for watercolor using pencil method. All I want out of group is comraderie and encouragement.

- Thankyou Larry, Yes it is the red rock area. Actually it is two miles before the entrance to red rock. Still has a view of Turtlehead in the background. Love to go there all the time.

I am a beginner also and have found so much help here on this site and I am lucky enough to have Bob's dvd's too (my daughter and son-in-law bought me them for my birthday) Enjoy painting it came into my life just at the right time and keeps me going. I too have arthritis and other health challenges but painting has changed my life and I have made so many lovely friends here too. Keep well. Janet
