- Hi all. Bob, great man that he is has been helping me forever it seems. I enjoy painting, watercolors are my favorite medium but I also use CP sometimes. I am an avid reader, Love live concerts, and have 4 cats. We live in a rural area, very beautiful. At one with nature so to speak. I am anxious to start using site. Looks like a group of nice, helpful folks.
I have too many repeats. have to work on that. The wet in wet flower is a nod to GO'keefe, my favourite artist, I dod the flower on mauve for my mom, trees, just trees, a shell in CP, most of the rest are Graphite studies, and WC. I did the leaves and butterfly plus another collage for the widows of Rawands, for an auction out in Calgary, Canada. I raised some money for them. Poor, poor ladies. Most of my good art has either been sold or given away, or scrapped. the on in frame I did for my in-laws. I didn't have a digital camera when i was doing the others or I would have taken back-ups. Now we have to get it checked before Florida. ENJOY

Thank you for your comments on my last postings. The LY bore the illustrious name : "Mont Marte" , don't rightly know if it is wordplay or intellectual property right issues.
I got it on sale in Melbourne. Here they only stock W&N (Cotman) and Reeves besides the Japanese "Pentel" brand. It's the first time I used it and it got all over the painting.
On cameras, the Canon "ixus" series are small and pretty flat, easy to pocket or slip in a bag. They go up to 12 megapixels (altough anything over 6 is enough and not such a load on the sensor which had to be kept small).

I perhaps would not label this "contemporary". Rather, it harkens back to very old Japanese stylistic painting. Its beautiful, but .....
