- Hi all. Bob, great man that he is has been helping me forever it seems. I enjoy painting, watercolors are my favorite medium but I also use CP sometimes. I am an avid reader, Love live concerts, and have 4 cats. We live in a rural area, very beautiful. At one with nature so to speak. I am anxious to start using site. Looks like a group of nice, helpful folks.
I have too many repeats. have to work on that. The wet in wet flower is a nod to GO'keefe, my favourite artist, I dod the flower on mauve for my mom, trees, just trees, a shell in CP, most of the rest are Graphite studies, and WC. I did the leaves and butterfly plus another collage for the widows of Rawands, for an auction out in Calgary, Canada. I raised some money for them. Poor, poor ladies. Most of my good art has either been sold or given away, or scrapped. the on in frame I did for my in-laws. I didn't have a digital camera when i was doing the others or I would have taken back-ups. Now we have to get it checked before Florida. ENJOY

- Hi Lamoine, the photo really is on the farm, my brother's farm. About 80kms away. Camels are the best for weed contol, they eat anything. There are thousands of them in Australia, brought in my Afghanis years ago before the railway. They were the only way to cross the great deserts we have. Unfortunately they are now feral and in the Northern Territory they are looking at culling 6000. A huge problem.

Thanks for the "coffee on paper" information,I was not sure how archival it was, especially with the acidity of coffee, but it is a fun fragrant watercolor substitute to sketch with in a pinch. I pulled the blog. Thanks again,,,,,,,, Love ,Rob
