- Hi, I am 55 years old retired engineer. As lifes getting on i'm looking to recapture my passion for drawing and painting. It's been about 20 years since i could sit, relax and doodle. I have discovered that after a little relaxing by the riverside last year with pencil and paper in hand that the old skills are still there if not improved. This inspired me to dust off the old paint box and lets see if i can make sense of creating watercolours, something i can't quite master.
These days i find inspiration helping out on a friends narrowboat taking people on short trips. This gets me into some fabulous Yorkshire countryside. www.airedalecruising.info if anyones interested. ask for David

Please, please add tags so when people (me) do a search in the gallery your work will be pulled up. There are many of us that don't know how to do things and need reference material. I would have loved to have your pictures pop up when I did a search for water, trees....... but even if you don't I still like your work!
