Hi Brenda, I always call these deep sided canvas' 3D. I don't really know if I have made this up or not , LOL !!! I took some of the Turtle from a picture out of a book the rest is made up. byeeeeeeee

I am mostly self taught, with some adult education & several years workshops with Jeremy in my area, Shaw & Oldham. I was lucky to be accepted as the RSC for my local area, for the SAA. I also hold weekly workshops in Chadderton, Moston, & Middleton.

It excepts acrylic paints very well but was worried about the sides as they do not paint well and they look cheap with the foam showing. I am into texture so going to try to do one with textured sides of stucco and see if it will hold. The recesed frame was a good idea too. There has to be something as I have so much of it....thank you again.
You have some very pretty watercolors here...love the flowers but most of all love the abstract landscape....beautiful...
