- Harry. Thanks mate. you are right it is layering with both knife and brush also, I use thick gesso sometimes instead of Titanium white (a tip I picked up from reading Jerry Darnell it gives more of a blending feel like oils) and some happy accidents. I have started to experiment with pastel and watercolour along with the acrylics. Nothing ventured eh Sometimes it works, sometimes it is the bin!!! Thanks again Harry
