Great subject, well done.
This was done from a photo from the Great American Dustbowl a migrant worker I believe? I love this photo and you've done a great job bringing to color. Nice work. Michael.
I could sit on those steps all day
I have my coat, the salt air fills my lungs and I can hardly tell where the water ends and the sky begins. The Greens and darks and lights are so easy on the eyes and restful on the soul. So interesting to look aand see.
A Grove of trees at twilight....I really like this one, colors are so great but even more than that, I want to walk to the trees to look over the valley floor and watch as the day gives way to the night. Very well done!
I like this ... it invites the viewer to look in to it.

Thankyou for the philosophical review of my painting. I like to imagine what went on in old buildings when they were lived in. I understand how you feel about new life springing out of the neglect and decay. It's nostalgia and hope bound together in that moment when there is a new turn of events.

I was surprised that so many of the paintings in your gallery tell of hardship, toil, or menace, and very little joy. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I just wonder if there's a reason why.

- Ji Just got home fromthe beach. We beat the heat wave, only on th 70's there. My son and family were here from Colorado. They left today so did we. Glad to hear Richard and Bob are still kicking.
