The original painting was by John Singer Sargent, Dennis. You did a beautiful job here....
The only thing I noticed is that the sky has more whitish clouds in the original. You are talented.

Took up watercolour & couldn't get the hang of it. Changed to oils which suits my "sculpturesque" style of painting.

But, I'm working on it. No, chat is still here, you just have to find it...lol If you look on the bottom right of the site there is a bar with the words idrawandpaint and then it will say how many members online. further to the right you will see a angled arrow a so called person and a very small circle, it should be greed, if its red click on it to make it green then click on the workds I drawand paint and the chat screen should open. Dont be alarmed all those people listed in the chat window are not in chat, they are just signed into the site. So, they are not being rude if they dont talk to you, lol. just say hello and if someone is there, they will chat...I'll be in there tomorrow off and on, if you want to try it. I like the atmosphere here. Since pastels aren't my specialty, I won't comment on improvements. I think what everyone else has said makes sense. The one thing I do know is that pastels seem easy to lighten and darken so revisions should work. BTW....
You might try checking a site called www.about.com they have info on most anything you can think of

I have just commented this picture and I don’t find my comments any more...I think I have to go to sleep. I just wanted to say that it looks fantastic. I like a lot the light in the trunks and the fresh colours that it has. Very nice!
