Painting Fast
I'm trying to learn how to do that. On July 26th I was awakened from a nap by a horrible explosion, it felt like, inside my body on my right side, from back to front. and under my rib cage on that side too. It hurt so much and kept on hurting. My daughter was at work. When she got home at 10:30 she took me to the ER. They attributed the pain to my so called fibromyalgia. Misty Mums
This is a bit looser than I usually paint, but I really like this one. I call it "Misty Mums".

Two Confederate Roses
Of course, this is not really a rose, but that's what we call these wonderful bushes which are related to the hibiscus plant. They bloom in the fall! I have a big bush and I dearly love it! I've just this minute finished this and photographed it.

- Hi Cia, well I have tried water colours but I don't have much patience but as soon as I started painting with acrylics I knew I had found my medium, I do use oils and I have dabbled in pastels etc but I always come back to acrylics speak soon Pat

It is well explained. When I teach in small groups in our club. I tell them,Look at the subject,get in the mood with the movement and the flow,with the composition,what is it you want other eyes to see. [they some times think i am out there].
I never looked at shapes when I paint,maybe I should revisit that. Thank You for that translation.

She sure is a cute little critter. I didn't have the right colors (or wasn't successful in blending them), but I do like her anyway. It's done in Derwent Colorsoft pencil on 9 x 12" drawing pad paper.
