Great painting, I love it!
This hen is magnificent, colours are sublime and which beautiful mixture that you made. The plumage is defined well and you made an excellent work. 5 +++

- I have been painting on & off for about 8 years mostly in the evenings or at evening classes. I love to paint animals in pastel and have had a few commissions. I also love to paint in oil but mostly abstract or in an impressionistic style. I have recently taken early retirement and hope to eventually devote more time to painting.

You commented on my name a long time ago:) My friend and I were looking through 500 farmyard animal stencils and I commented that Pig #52 was the best pig stencil I had ever seen. So know I sometimes go as Pig52...kind of an inside joke. Anyway, sorry it took me a year to get back to you, and thanks for your beautiful artwork.
