Hi Marti, You have done great work on these little guys, they are so cute. Abby seems to have two different size cheeks though, the right side facing us is made to look smaller by the shadow around around the outside of the cheek. Eyes are very good.

Tell us a bit about yourself:
I have taken an active interest in drawing and painting ever since I can remember. I am retired now and have more time to devote to this pleasurable and relaxing hobby.
Some mediums I have recently worked with are pet portraiture in pen & ink, acrylics and watercolor scenery. I have since delved into pastels and colored pencils and the latest watercolors.
I enjoy communicating with other artists about their works and learning about their techniques. Carol

Thanks, Carol, for your comments on my little dancer. She was a really fun project.

Thanks Carol! I am still working on the drawing and I see what you mean. I still have some shadowing and some highlighting to work on. I do see some of the major flaws now that I have uploaded it though! I am open to any suggestions! Thanks again!

Good morning Carol,
Thanks for commenting on my Loblolly Pines. That's what I'm looking at right now, from my painting table.
I hope you're staying warm up there. My daughter-in-law sent me pictures from Virginia. Unbelievable.
Have a wonderful week,
Fran

You're welcome Gail. Boris' picture reminds me of a painting I did from a picture of my son's horse "Pete" and his little buddy "Jack" in the stable on this site:

Hi Carol,
Many thanks for your comments on this up-load. Boris actually belonged at the ranch - no not mine! I like your comment about the jeans with the boot - it was the most difficult part - I thought I had failed to get it right. Your comment is greatly appreciated. :-)) Gail
