"Directly from Google streetview (no copyright on those ones :o)).
Some sketches from streets in Sicilia. I was looking for some sunny streetscenes and made this quick sketches. Perhaps one day it will turn out as a final painting."

- I am Bix and I have recently discovered Idrawandpaint and love it. I now live in France having lived in Brighton, UK for over 20 years and am enjoying everything french, all of which I want to paint. We have taken on a project of renovating a 12th Century monastery and have just published our first ads in the Leisure Painter and The Artist holiday supplement Feb 10 and have just opened the house up for art holidays and already taking bookings. Have learnt soooo much since joining in Sept 09 and plan to learn as much as I can.

She sure is a cute little critter. I didn't have the right colors (or wasn't successful in blending them), but I do like her anyway. It's done in Derwent Colorsoft pencil on 9 x 12" drawing pad paper.
