I really like your background on this piece, Tom. The skin tones, as usual, are excellent. I especially love her forehead, and the shoulder on the right of the painting. There is something about the perspective of the hand in front . . . but I can't quite put my finger on it. Is it turned toward the viewer? I think I'm wanting a deeper shadow or something. The only other thing I can think of is to soften some edges, perhaps on the left (her right arm). The teeth are really nice . . . so pearly. All of your dance portraits are so excellent!

Hi Tom, i noticed this on my sister's site and she was right about the hands. i usually put something in mine or hide also, LOL. How are the Loggerheads doing now? Any better or is still as bad. i just finished reading a couple of books on them, and does the aquarium, still have the injured one,? i read NSparks books among many, many others, which is why books tempt me more than painting. We have 2,000 at least. Take care, she is as beautiful as your others'. Tried any vellum yet. I quite like it as does Mike Sibley, and, in my books the guy is tops, altho, he doesn't do many portraits. You do know of him, don't you? have an amazing weekend. Lamoine
