What Are Challenges?
We have five challenges each month (one for each of the major mediums in art). At the start of each month a photograph is posted and members are encouraged to have a go at re-creating it in their own way and with their own twist.
You can copy the photo as losely or as accurately as you like - the only condition is that is must use the medium (i.e. oils, acrylics etc.) of that challenge.
How Do I Join A Challenge?
Simply click on the "Challenges" tab above and click on a Challenge group that interests you. On the Challenge page you will see a link in the top right that says "+Join Challenge" - click that and you're set.
NOTE: You only have to join the group ONCE and not every month.

How Do I Submit My Entry For A Challenge
Each month a new discussion will be added to the Challenge forum with a title such as
*** JANUARY'S CHALLENGE ***. Simply click on that discussion and you will see the photo for that month's challenge. Reply to that discussion and attach your picture using the little
photo button.

Is A Winner Chosen?
No. The Challenge is non-competitive as it's very difficult to set up a fair voting system. However, most members agree that the motivation for joining in a challenge is to stretch themselves in order to improve!
Who Sets The Challenges?
Each Challenge group has a number of administrators that set a new photo challenge each month.
