I sure could use some guidance on a piece Im stuck on.

Im painting a woman from the side view. I need to paint the muscles in her back/side and Im just not figuring it out. Can anyone make some suggestions, and do you need to see the art first. Shes squating on a mountain..actually its fantasy art so Im not so sure she needs muscle tones...anyway she has a set of wings outstretched flowing behind her ..her hair is flowing into those wings. She is nude all but a pair of black boots and gloves, noooooo its not suggestive or sexual at all, I guess you would just have to see it to understand.

Hi Rick, i can never really see the focal point, does that make me a bad judge of art? i just look at a painting and decide there and then whether i like it, sometimes its the colour that attracts me, sometimes it is a tree, cloud, face, Wow what do you know, i guess i do look at a focal point, thanks for pointing that out to me, i am a complete dodo on art.
Thomsi Comment by Thomsi on June 18, 2008 at 3:22pm
Excellent idea frodron, must see what my other half can rig up for me. On the few times that I have used wc I usually stretch wc paper it the normal way with the brown sticky paper stuff, but I do stretch several pieces at a time so that I have some ready to use.
