Fell down on Wednesday and it turns out my ankle is broken!  I am in a cast up to my knee!  Now I am confined to my chair - the only good thing is that I'll lots of time to draw!!

Sorry to hear about your fracture. I do sympathise as I fractured my leg at the knee a few years ago and was hobbling about in a cast from my ankle to my thigh.   I used the cast to balance a board and did some watercolour and drawing whilst laid up.  I hope you will soon be up and around again.

Owww! You could always paint your cast if you start going stircrazy. :)

Hope you feel better soon!

Thanks Virginia!  I may decoupage some of my paintings on it!

Thanks Dorothy!  Wow, you had it worse than me.  I have a wheelchair to get around the house and I am doing some pen and inks and pencils while down here and not up in my studio.  I am starting to get some cabin fever though!

Hi Jelly,
I am so sorry to hear about your accident! I've been there and done that - I still have pins in my ankle. I hope you can get out some.

Thanks Sharon!  I am going to make my hubby take me for a drive soon!  Thursday I have to deliver a commission  and  I would really like to do that in person! I can put some weight on it now so it is all up hill from here!

"I just finished my Yorkie. She sure is a cute little critter. I didn't have the right colors (or wasn't successful in blending them), but I do like her anyway. It's done in Derwent Colorsoft pencil on 9 x 12" drawing pad paper. "

"This is a very atmospheric painting. I love the use of colour, and the palms in the background."
