Good idea Wim. It will be nice to visualise everyone painting away in their own little corner. I shall have to tidy mine before I dare show it!

My painting corner may be a mess and cramped but it is my little corner of the world and I'm surprisingly fond of my palettes, paints, brushes, books, sprayguns, DIP PENS(!), pencils, inks, etc. I took a picture of it one day when it was un usually organized and I happened to be holding a newly charged camera. The first time I saw it on the computor I fell in love and made an effort to make it more artistic. Each time I make a change "in my corner' I take a pic. They got to look so good I started painting still lifes of my corner and I'm sure many of you do the same things. Dip pens are my weakness. Perhaps I need a psychiatrist. Ta.

End of October already and as the weather gets colder,my energies switch to greyhound winter coats instead of drawing, ink and watercolor. # 28 is now on the sewing table and the new mob arrives in a few days, then my sewing corner reverts to my painting get away. I plan a few changes that we learned about in painting group. Two water containers, one inside the other and the same height. I use a glass bowl and a glass jar inside it. It was in an art book and the whole class just thinks its great for cleaner water. Got a new chair with wheels and a 5 foot folding table with a white plastic tablecloth over it. So I have a 1/3 of the table for w/c, drawing and ink. I just slide back and forth! My husband made me a tall, skinny bookshelf and a neighbour donated a hairdressers cart on wheels that is awesome and holds all that little stuff. Nothing matches, only the table is new, the office chair is an antique lacquered pine with a wide. comfy seat and freshly oiled wheels but it was pulled together from need and chosen with great expectations. I plan to paint the finished result so it will appear in my art pages and not here because I hate doing that technical stuff and can just get my art on. By accident I managed a one time blog! So what's new in your corner of the world.
