Stone Wall help to look 3D

I found this and several other pictures at Flickr.com Creative Commons / 2 icons, circle with man inside and $ sign in circle with line thru it. Good Luck.

Lori, Thanks. I went to Flickr and enjoyed the stone walls. What a huge, beautiful variety!

Miriam, Flickr is a great site to find whatever you're looking for. Each "Common" has different restrictions and copyrights for use of their photos, look in the category that complies with your intended use. Have fun.

Hi Miriam,
Apart from the good advise given by Tony, I would also arm myself with an old toothbrush. Dip the bristles in a couple of different colors of wash consistancy, one at a time of course, and carefully spatter the stones. Shield your background etc.
Try not to over do it. Maybe even try it on a scrap piece of paper first, to see how you like the technique and to "get the hang" of it, before applying to your major piece. Good Luck! :-)) Gail

Thanks Gail. Sounds like good advise! I'm itching to start a new stone wall and use what I know now.
