I have used them for 4 years in various paintings and even don a demo with them. I don't know what the professional quality is like I have only used the SWC special but as the professional is only one step down I can't see there being much difference. To me their spreading power is unbelievable. Their pigment density is as good as any I have used. The luminosity and ability to be used with lots of water and still produce an effective glaze is brilliant.
To me the packaging, the colour codes are all identical to Holbein professional paints so what is going on there is not for me to say.
But if this is your step up the GO for it Richard you will not go wrong and if you do... I'll buy them off you at the right price ;-)

Hi Keith thank you for your reply thats a great help they cant be bad if you have been using them so long. They offer a money back guarantee if your not 100/% happy with them so i suppose i cant go far wrong. Thanks again. Richard
