I was searching my Sky planner the other day for watercolour programmes and stumbled across the Propellor channel on 195. Most of the time there is some very strange content on this channel but at around 4:00 pm it hands over to "The Painting and Drawing Channel". I've watched a few programmes in this section and there is some decent content for beginners .... washes, trees, figures, etc.
Might be worth a series link on the planner.

Permalink Reply by Charles Black on February 5, 2012 at 5:18pm As the programs only stay on the site for about a week you may want to save them for watching later. There are two options
1. The videos are usually hosted on YouTube so click on the box at the bottom right of the picture - to open in YouTube - then save the Youtube address to notepad.
2. Save to your computer. There are various free YouTube downloaders out there. The best I have found is NetVideoHunter - http://www.winportal.com/netvideohunter?utm_source=google&utm_m...
This sits just to the left of your browsers address bar and when you find a video you wish to keep - run the video and just click on the icon and wait for the video to finish downloading. The program can download several videos at once. Once yo have them on your computer you can watch them when you wish or burn them to a DVD with suitable sofware.
Download your free copy of Bob's brand new e-book for painting with acrylics...
