Hi Elizabeth, thank you for your comments. I got the idea to have the birds flying out of the picture from Ted Nuttal, thought I'd give it a try. Maybe it would work better if I had some flying into it as well.

This is lovely. I can feel the warmth of the afternoon sun. The fence detail is very good. One comment I would make is that the birds might have been better flying into the picture and not out of it. But good painting anyhow
